K stopped for a small purchase to get cash back. Safeway is a great grocer. Wide selection, reasonable prices, friendly help it's you need it, courteous service.

I like some of the employees there they're really nice. But the dog and the cat food aisle is messed up. The dog and cat food is not separate it's together it should be cat food one I'll dog food on the other side. Plus they keep changing things all the time so you go in on Monday you know where the yogurt is you go in on Wednesday they don't even carry their brand anymore and then they move it. I hate when they constantly move stuff around and stop carrying your brand because not everyone in Port Townsend likes it. And the post that they put up for speeding don't work. I have almost been hit by cars going through there it's horrible. They need to have speed bumps. Because new people are moving here and there's a lot of visitors and apparently they don't know how to drive and they can't read. Something needs to be done somebody's going to get hurt and there's going to be a big lawsuit.

Horrible!!! Long lines and hardly a checker in sight!! One checker was wearing a oversized sweatshirt his hair looked like a bird nest and he smelled like he had never heard of showers🤮. There was rotten produce on the shelves and the to go Chinese was both under temp and crusty like it was yesterday's leftovers. How do these people stay in business??? The most disgusting bathrooms I've seen since Tijuana, Mexico. Where's the health inspector in this town???
